MY BROTHER'S BLOG: TROY HOWELL STUDIO

I have just added my brother, Troy Howell's blog link to my side bar. Artist extrodinaire, author of 'The Dragon of Cripple Creek'; children's book illustrator, American jacket cover illustrator for all of the 'Redwall' series by Brian Jacques of England.  Please enjoy my brother's blog. After you click his blog icon, on MY side bar, it will take you to his first page with a man in a leaf cocoon. As you enter his artistic world, it will take you to many places on my brother's site.  Please click on the word 'blog' on the second page. When you arrive on his blog page there are many options to view.  If you want to know more about 'The Dragon of Cripple Creek' on his right side bar click on that option too. If you want to see available artwork for sale from previous book jackets he has illustrated, please click on his 'trunk sale' option.  His book is available on Amazon books.com and I believe also on Kindle e-books.
Enjoy~

Sweet friend,

It is so kind of you to come to visit during this family time. I am sitting here remembering past blog visits from friends, and just like anything else, times change according to the situation at hand. But I have fond memories of dear people, like YOU, to come by to leave a kind word. OH BUBBLE UP AND SPRITE...REMEMBER THAT????? How about those strawberry and orange sodas as well...oh dear, I can taste them!

AND...you went to my shop??? I AM POSTING TOMORROW to show them off along with my birds and another new item. I have not yet shared the birds on my blog, but I have sold several already. How very kind of people! And dearest, THANK YOU SO MUCH for always being there with a kind word. May you enjoy that CORN BREAD TONIGHT with the soup, crackers and the love of family....BLESSINGS OF GOD TO YOU!!!! Anita

Hi Teresa,
Thank you for the kind words... and yes.. this one didn't go poof! lol!! Orange rinds?? hmmmm.. My husband eats orange rinds all the time and his is very healthy! Maybe you have something here!! I find them very bitter... but will try anything.. Apples are excellent!! I also heard, lemon juice squeezed fresh from the lemon with water 1rst thing in the AM is very very good for you!! I will try that... and maybe move onto the orange rinds... I belong to a very nice ladies gym (for over 2 years) .. I think maybe I will actually give it a try!! LOL!!! Wishing you much success in your endeavor to get healthy as well!!
Happy New Year!! It's almost here!! yay!!

Dear Trese,
What a lovely post directing others to our very talented brother's blog and website. I just bought three more copies of the Dragon of Cripple Creek. Love it and can't wait to read his next one about Hans Christian Andersen (and a ghost)! I'm finally over the flu and now have some respiratory bug tormenting me. Eating oranges and drinking lots of tea and staying in as much as possible.
Happy New Year!
I'm sure we'll talk soon.

Hi Teresa, Thanks for stopping by my blog again. I went over to your brothers blog. What a great artist. Do you ever come over to the coast? I teach workshops and have shows with a few other artists at my home from time to time. I'm teaching a tempered glass class tomorrow and our next show is a week before Valentine's weekend. Have a blessed new year.
