Well...I for one LOVED the French tour!!! I live near King's Island Amusement Park, and they have an Eiffel Tower replica there that is 1/3 the size of the original tower. It gives me just a little idea of the size which is HUGE!!!

Thank you for the tour~ ♥♥♥

I was bogged down this week so coming late to the party. I looked through your week of work and had a great time. A few of your paintings were in the wonderful exhibit at the Met (that included some of the wardrobe worn in the paintings--thrilling). You've done a great job conjuring the spirit of France. Lovely to meet you thanks to Anita's irresistible party.

TERESA! France is never out of style, never off the list....thank you my sweet sister for joining in and continuing to celebrate with us! I remember when I first went to France. I promised myself that when I saw the Eiffel Tower that I would put aside my fear of heights and climb to the top, or at least as far as they allow until you take the elevator. HA! Do you think my vertigo would take a vacation? And just because I WAS ON THE TOWER, it was going to collapse that very moment? teehee...well, that's the mind of someone with a severe fear of heights! So lo and behold, I only made it to the top of the first floor!!!!!!!!! But what a sight to see one of the most famous iconic structures in the world...loved it all.

Well, we have begun another wonderful memory, TOGETHER.

Thank you dear one for adding the enthusiasm it takes to make success happen.

BONNE JOURNÉE! Anita

Yes what a wonderful thing to cap it off with! I always love looking at the pictures of the different colours the Eiffel tower has been painted over the years or early pictures during the construction. Oh then I saw a very weird documentary about a woman who married the Eiffel tower. I do NOT recommend it.

I've loved reading about your Parisienne and French blog party. I didn't realise La Tour Eiffel had been painted so many different colours. The photographs were a pleasure to behold. Thank you for showing them all.

Oh, I came back to look at the 1940's postcard of Paris. Is that Rick and Ilsa walking hand-in-hand, down in the left?
