'PINK SCARF PROJECT' AT 2 BAGS FULL

Vicki with 2 Bags Full blog is hosting a heartfelt project to support breast cancer awareness by reaching out to those she knows in her own immediate community who are surviving and/ or who are going through breast cancer.  The project is called the 'PINK SCARF PROJECT'.  If you desire to participate in the project by donating a pink scarf, whether it is made of lovely pink fabrics sewn into a scarf, or knitted, crocheted, or embellished with whatever medium you choose, please click on the link on my right hand sidebar for more information to participate.  The project will run for an entire year, from October 2012 to October 2013, so there is plenty of time to be included in this event.  Vicki requires that her link be posted on your sidebar.  Please link to her blog for more information.
Thank you!
Teresa

Thank you for sharing this with your readers-- I'm so grateful that you want to participate. It seems like such a little thing-- but each scarf will be a gift that will make someone feel so special- a warm hug when they might need it most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Teresa, I too am going to make the scarf, found it through another friend a few weeks ago. Will start soon making it. Have the needles, now need to buy the yarn, been so busy so have not had the time to get out to buy it. It's a wonderful project and looking forward to making it. Hugs..Lu

I will have to see about making one of these. I can't crochet, or knit. But I've always wanted to try dying silk with Kool Aid. Maybe I could make a a tropical-pink scarf from silk? Add some beads, make it pretty? Thank you for featuring this. If I make a start one one, I'll put this on my sidebar, too.
