MORE HOMES NEAR LAURELWOOD

I have more photos of homes in the area of Laurelwood and also a few more close-ups of the magical picture window with Alice and the White Rabbit.
ENJOY!

ANOTHER LOVELY VINTAGE SPANISH STYLE HOUSE.  I ADORE THE TOP CIRCULAR POP OUT ON THE ROOF.

NO, IT'S NOT 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE...BUT IT IS A LOVELY SWEET COTTAGE STYLE WITH DARLING UPPER WINDOWS.  I LIKE THE SWEET AND SIMPLE GATE TOO!

YAY! HERE IS A BETTER CLOSE-UP OF THE WHITE RABBIT AND ALICE STANDING ON A GRAND PIANO!  HOW MAGICAL IS THIS!  I WOULD LOVE TO SEE INSIDE THE ENTIRE HOUSE!  THERE MUST BE A VERY MAGICAL FAMILY LIVING INSIDE!

I DO LOVE RED DOORS ON HOMES...AND THIS ONE IS CHARMING.

ANOTHER LOVELY HOME IN THE AREA WITH A LOT OF CHARACTER.  LOTS OF DETAILS ON THE WINDOWS AND SUCH A CHARMING FRONT DOOR!

I DO LIKE MYSTERIOUS GARDEN DOORS!  WHAT LIES BEHIND IS A MYSTERY.

WELL...YOU ALMOST CAN'T SEE THE HOUSE FOR THE TREE!  BUT THIS IS THE WAY MOST OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS...LOTS OF LOVELY HUGE TREES!  THIS IS A HUGE HOUSE, BY THE WAY...THE PHOTO DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE!

ANOTHER LOVELY ROOF STYLE AND FRENCH STYLE WINDOWS ON SUCH AN EXPANSIVE PROPERTY WITH HUGE OAK TREES.

THIS IS THE STYLE OF HOME YOU WOULD SEE IN SOUTH PASADENA, CALIFORNIA OR EVEN NORTH HOLLYWOOD.  JUST A VERY LOVELY HOME WITH A FULL BALCONY, PROBABLY A MOTHER-IN-LAWS QUARTERS OVER TO THE LEFT OF THE HOUSE.  JUST DIVINE!

ANOTHER HUGE SPANISH STYLE HOME WITH A SPRAWLING FRONT YARD AND PROBABLY FIVE THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT INTERIOR.

THE TYPICAL AMERICAN HOME HERE IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA. YOUR BASIC WHITE WITH DARK GREEN ACCENTS.  TRULY A HOME OF COMFORT AND CHARM.
I HOPE YOU HAVE ENJOYED A SHORT TOUR OF THE LAURELWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD.
THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY AND HAVING A CUP OF TEA WITH ME!

GOOD MORNING my dear! I am loving this tour of yours. These homes truly bring back the California style (eclectic) that I grew up with. Like I mentioned before, one of the things I love about living in Minneapolis is that the homes vary in ALL of these styles, leaning more towards the fairytale cottage style. I LOVE THAT HOME WITH THE ALICE AND WHITE RABBIT! Oh how I wish you could see my home. THANK YOU for this wonderful tour! Anita

What lovely houses. I was impressed by the stature of the trees, how lovely they look. And they're all very nice houses but I have to admit, yes, my favourite is the one with Alice and the White Rabbit. I hope it's as magical inside! You need to get invited there for tea, take more pictures!

Good morning Theresa! I am just now visiting my blog friends after being away for (too long) a time. Please write to me at heirloomheart@msn.com...much love, Rose

I have a red front door. I just love them also.
Since I am a native California girl, it was fun to see some styles I grew up with. It is always interesting to see the differnet homes you find from one place to another.
Have a great day...Mary in Idaho

I did! I really enjoyed the tour. I just love a good neighborhood tour! I think the first cottage house (1600) is my favorite...so charming! But it's a tough choice. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. It was nice to "meet" you Teresa! Vanna
