Won't you please come celebrate Alienore's Birthday Party with my dolls and I today? Today Alienore is three years old. My dollies decided to host a photo shoot in celebration of the party festivities as we celebrate here in California and Alienore celebrates in the U.K. and many other bloggers celebrate the day too!!! So, without much further ado, let the photo shoot begin!!!
|
The dollies wanted to dress up in their finest dresses. In order of appearance from left to right is: Abelia from Blackeyed Suzie; in the middle is Dolly from Karen of KDMilstein Studio on Etsy; and on the right is Little Gypsy also from Karen's Etsy. |
|
On the left is 'Alice in Wonderland' from by Abi Monroe from Art Dolls Only; in the middle is a French Style doll from Kaire Faire; and on the right is Hannie from Cheekie Bottoms Blog. | |

And here we have Sasha by Susan Hopkirk Etsy; A Folk Art Angel Ornie from Gollywobbles on Etsy; French Vintage Style 'Man in the Moon' by Pearl Avenue Studios on Etsy; 'Alice in Wonderland with her bunny' from The Black Berry Briar Etsy; and Alice Psychadelic Doll by Dame Darcy. |

All the dolls in my doll collection are uniquely one-of-a-kind. On the left we have Deidre who is completely poseable from The Iron Kettle Etsy; in the middle is Lemonade Fairy by The Filligree on Etsy; and Rosie from Ashland Hill Etsy. |

Here are Alice in Wonderland themed dolls. On the left we have Alice made by Ashly Daugherty (which I believe was highlighted on Art Dolls Only); next is a paper mache Folk Art Vintage Style Bunny by Pearl Avenue Studios on Etsy; In the middle we have 'Alice in Wonderland' made by The Polka Dot Pixie - Jenny Hernandez; Then we have a cute little piggy again from KDMilstein Studio on Etsy; and hiding in the corner on the dolly table is The Cheshire Cat made by Teresa S. (me). |

Lovely Teresa, your doll collection is something to behold!! What treasures!!
I love them all, thank you for sharing them, I so adored just looking into each photo at all the detail! Scrumptious!!
Cheers with Shirley Temples to Alienore!!
You are a doll yourself, you know ;)
What a BEAUTIFUL post of dollies Teresa! I am dying over that Alice art doll. How amazing! They're all so beautiful and unique though, I love it! Oh and about George MacDonald's books, yes I have the Princess and Curdie too! I am going to read it soon, have been reading like a madwoman. I really love his stuff, it is so beautiful and classic. Plus the mines a mile away from my house and the noises they make at night make for a perfect atmosphere for reading stories of goblin mines!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such lovely and thoughtful comments! Congratulations to your niece for her accomplishments and making some big decisions. Grad school isn't easy, but it is fulfilling. It is difficult being away from home, especially when I am used to the heat and sunshine in Southern AZ. I hope your niece feels energized and reinvigorated.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I quite enjoy yours, as well!
all my best,
Bobbypin Bandit (a.k.a. Kristen)
P.S. I just love that pig by KD Milstein. Your work is fantastic! Love your cheshire cat! What a fantastic collection of various artists and your own work!
