THE UNIVERSE ------ THE SPLENDORS OF GOD

I have always been fascinated by the stars, the galaxies, and the planets....the entire universe that goes on and on.  I have only seen Saturn through a small telescope.  I would love to go to an observatory and view the heavens.  The closest I have been, is at Griffith Observatory viewing hundreds of photos and seeing the show in the theater showing the constellations in our immediate Earth's night sky.  It is the Hubble Telescope that fascinates me with the wondrous photos it has gleaned from our immediate galaxy.  So, without further ado, here are some beauties you may enjoy viewing.
THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE A UNIVERSE INSIDE OF A UNIVERSE.

THIS NEBULA IS SO INTENSE!  THE CIRCULAR RINGS AROUND IT ARE AMAZING.
FAERIES MUST DEFINITELY VISIT THIS BEAUTIFUL SPIRAL CONFECTION.
I DO BELIEVE THIS ONE IS CALLED THE BUTTERFLY NEBULA

That is all for this viewing.  May your fantasy dreams come true and may your flights of fancy take you to worlds unknown.

THIS is splendid. Just last night, we were watching the most incredible DVD on the universe and I believe with all my heart that THE BIG BANG was when HE said, "Let there be light."

Words can't describe how gorgeous deep space is. I posted a lot of pics like that a few weeks back. I must have saved over 200 of them. Lol! Have you seen the new video of the HD camera they placed on one of the rockets of the Space Shuttle? I'll make a post on it tomorrow. It's the most awesome thing I've ever seen!

And your ancestry sounds like mine. Even my great grandmother (?) was full blooded Cherokee. We have Irish on my Mom's side and Scots on my Dad's. Really, I think we have just about everything except Russian. I need to do a genealogy post sometime, but for that I need Mom's help. She and my uncle are the genealogists in the family.

I have also always been fascinated with the stars in the sky. Those images are absolutely wonderful!

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. The Proverbs 31 woman is someone who is industrious and enterprising yet very focused on her family at the same time. It's a delicate balance :)

This is tremendous. I have always felt a strange affinity with the night sky. I love stars and moons and all that. There's something really inspiring about the vastness of the universe, and all of the amazing things it consists of. It makes me believe anything is possible :)
