TROUBLESHOOTING RETRIEVING COMMENTS ON MY BLOG - PROBLEM SOLVED

Have any of you been experiencing problems in your Blogger comments with accessing comments from other bloggers on your post?  I have since the beginning of January.  So I went to Blogger 'help' and found a comment that said to turn off the 'embeded' setting on the 'comments' page, which is a separate page you access from your Dashboard.  You click on the 'comments' section on your Dashboard page and it will take you to the page which shows lots of settings for your comments.  When you find the setting that shows 'embeded'  click on the word 'embeded' and it will show 'Full Page' and a couple of other options.  Go ahead and click the 'Full Page' option. Which BTW was how my comment section was before January 2012. So, some how after the new year began, maybe when Blogger added the automatic spam feature, my 'Full Page' option for my comments was deactivated somehow, and it wasn't me.  So, I had to go to the 'comment's' page in order to renew that setting...and thankfully it worked.  I couldn't  access or read any comments as it would  immediately redirect me to www.google.com and then it would sit there and sit there loading and never going to google with a blank white page.  I know one gal who had made the comment that she was experiencing the same thing.  I hope she comes back to my page as I cannot leave a comment on her page either.  So, if any of you have not been able to leave comments on my posts lately, that is probably the reason.

I like that 1st illustration. I've never seen it before. Alice in Wonderland sure is getting popular, isn't it? I'm seeing A LOT of AIW themed jewelry on etsy these days.

As for drawing and making the dolls... several years ago my mother and I made our own teddy bears. We made quite a few, but right from the start I knew I would be an epic FAIL at it. Even back in high school, my Home Economics teacher didn't even try sugarcoating how bad I was at sewing. Lol!

DEAREST !!!!!

I just saw your comment and I TOO AGREE that I am not looking forward to the many MORE changes coming. There is something do to with our FOLLOWER function that is changing to GOOGLE + and I am really not looking forward to that fiasco. I understand it is complicated, because another blogger mentioned she already tried it. AND THEN, my favorite: PICNIK, where I make all my headers for free??? That is also going GOOGLE + and who knows how difficult that will be. No, I don't think most of us like change, and especially when the new changes are MORE DIFFICULT!

That is so strange how my blog is INVALID??????

Thank you dear heart, for warning me! I must run to work, Anita

Hi Theresa,
Alice in Wonderland is also one of my favorites. When one of my granddaughters was a little girl, she played Alice, by herself, in my living room, she was so cute and called me Queen of Hearts cause I collect hearts. Great illustrations. Hugs...Lu

Just read your comment on Frosted Petunia's cupcake post.
I left a remark there addressed to you regarding Helms trucks coming to the neighborhood.
I glanced at this post and the previous post and have become a Follower.

I finally changed browsers from IE and Firefox to Chrome and so many of my Blogger issues were instantly "fixed". I haven't run into this comment problem before, but knowing what to do if it does happen is great - thank you!
The Alice images are wonderful!!! Thank you for the treat.

Oy, I did what you suggested and apparently go the same blurry looking words you are now getting here below and a friend said I'd get fewer comments this way???? what's with all these changes. Why didn't they just leave well enough alone? This is like an eye exam!

Thank you for the info and I Love all of the illustrations and of course the dolls :)

To the book comment on my blog.... I too can't stand the closing of book stores. We don't live far from our local mall and the only reason I would venture in there was to visit Waldenbooks and now they've shut down also :(

I like the feel of sitting down and opening up a good book to read, of turning the pages as I go but I can see that they will become obsolete (sp?) in the future... hmmph! lol
